Faith Should Fund the Future, Not Disappear Into It
Every year, crores of devotees give — quietly, faithfully, without asking questions — trusting that their contribution will protect a temple, support a priest, feed a child, or educate a student.
But faith alone doesn't audit where that money goes.
Too often, these collections get absorbed into administrative overheads, generic state treasuries, or systems so opaque that no devotee can trace their offering to a single tangible outcome. Heritage sites fall into disrepair. Local youth — the very future these institutions claim to protect — are left with no scholarships, no seed capital, no support system to build a livelihood. We are not asking anyone to stop giving. We are asking: where does it go, and who does it serve?
02 — The Solution
A Fund That Answers to the Community, Not a Ledger
BKV Mission is a member-driven collective built on one idea: contributions should be traceable, purposeful, and directed at people — not paperwork.
We pool small, transparent contributions from our members and channel them directly into zero-interest micro-loans for young entrepreneurs starting their first venture, merit-based scholarships for students who cannot afford to continue their education, livelihood support for artisans keeping traditional crafts and culture alive, and skilling and mentorship programs for unemployed youth in underserved towns and villages.
Every disbursement is recorded. Every rupee is accountable to the community that gave it. On the horizon: healthcare access programs, legal aid for families who cannot afford representation, and direct restoration of heritage sites that have been left to decay.
03 — Why It Matters
This Isn't Charity. It's Course Correction.
We're not building a new temple. We're rebuilding the bridge between devotion and dignity — so that a farmer's daughter can finish college, a first-generation graduate can start a small business without a loan shark at his door, and an artisan's craft doesn't die with him.
